The Hierarchy of Questions 10 Blackboards are arranged on a wall in a triangle formation of four levels with one blackboard on the top level and four at the bottom. On each blackboard one question is written in chalk. Each person plays the game by moving the questions up and down in the hierarchy trying to get the most important question to the top. If they want they can delete one of the questions from the lowest wrung and add their own. The performer facilitates the audience while asking them to explain their choices. The game format encourages a measure of competition along side debate. The blackboards and performer are simply a prompt to encourage people to ask questions in a public forum. The meat of the work lies in the interactions and conclusions that emerge from the audience. Performed for 'I'm With You' Vouge Fabrics, London 2011.
